Now that you’ve switched from classic Google Hangouts to Hangouts Meet, here are some tips on beginning to use Meet to manage your video meetings. You’ll find many similar features—and additional benefits—when you use Meet.

- A meeting code on web and mobile
- Copy the meeting link from the browser address bar or in the meeting details box, and send to someone. If someone tries to join who was not invited to the meeting, a meeting participant from your organization must accept their request.

Bandwidth requirements for meetings

- Inbound (with 5 participants): 3.2 Mbps
- Inbound (with 10+ participants): 4.0 Mbps

- Outbound from the participant in all situations: 3.2 Mbps
- Inbound to the participant with 6 or more participants: 3.4 Mbps
